On July 20, 2010, Ariana McGuire nearly lost her life after walking into the path of an arrow fired from a friend’s bow.  The arrow penetrated at least three inches into the young girl’s brain, severing her middle cerebral artery.  The road to recovery for eight-year-old Ariana has been long and challenging, but this week, her doctors plan on sending her home from the hospital.
