BRI EST 0729 Froelich Funeral

Law enforcement officers from throughout the state bid farewell to Sheriff Ralph Froehlich. Froehlich died at age 83 following a long illness. He was first elected in 1977 and was in the midst of his 13th term as Union County Sheriff. Froehlich was the longest-serving sheriff in state history.
