Sunday marked the 245th Anniversary commencement for Rutgers University, and the first university-wide graduation ceremony to be held in the “new” Rutgers Stadium.  University president Richard L. McCormick conferred degrees on 12,890 graduates during the ceremony that featured Nobel Laureate Toni Morrison as the commencement speaker.

Despite all the red jerseys, it was the guy in white, Tulane tight end Brock Sanders, who hauled in this pass from QB Ryan Griffin. The underdog Green Wave swamped Rutgers 17-14 at Rutgers Stadium in Piscataway.
